VoteVets Endorses Stephanie Vazquez for Pasco County Commission
PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Stephanie Vazquez, candidate for Pasco County Commission District 2 and a United States Air Force veteran, has earned the endorsement of VoteVets, one of the nation’s largest organizations representing veterans and military families.
Vazquez served in the U.S. Air Force. Her husband is an Army veteran, her daughter currently serves in the Air Force. “Service has always been part of my life,” Vazquez said. “I wore the uniform proudly, and I still believe public service is an honor. To have the support of fellow veterans means a great deal to me.”
VoteVets represents hundreds of thousands of veterans, military families, and supporters nationwide and is known for advocating for accountability in leadership, support for service members and their families, and protection of democratic institutions.
Vazquez said the endorsement reflects shared values rooted in her military background. “In the Air Force, we’re guided by three core values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do,” Vazquez said. “Those values don’t belong to a political party. They’re about character, discipline, and doing the job right. That’s exactly how I plan to serve Pasco County.”
Vazquez is running on a platform focused on responsible growth, infrastructure planning, disaster preparedness, government transparency, and support for working families and veterans in Pasco County. “Our community deserves steady, thoughtful leadership that puts people before politics,” Vazquez added. “Service doesn’t end when you hang up the uniform. For me, it continues right here at home.”
